Airborne molecular contamination (AMC) represents a wide range of gaseous contaminants in the cleanroom air environment. It is difficult to monitor AMC in the cleanroom air using conventional methods in real-time due to its ultra-low concentrations, such as part-per-billion or -trillion (ppb or ppt). Clearing the Air is essential for anyone seriously interested in China's environment. Well researched and well written, the book documents what is known – and not known – about air pollution damage in China. Despite its serious theme, it optimistically concludes that it is possible to reduce air pollution at an insignificant cost to economic growth.

Air pollution is a universal problem with consequences ranging from the immediate death of plants and people, to gradually declining crop yields, and damaged buildings. All sections of this new edition of Air Pollution have been updated.

What is air pollution. Air lets our living planet breathe—it's the mixture of gases that fills the atmosphere, giving life to the plants and animals that make Earth such a vibrant place.

Broadly speaking, air is almost entirely made up of two gases (78 percent nitrogen and 21 percent oxygen), with a few other gases (such as carbon dioxide and argon) present in much smaller quantities. Genre/Form: Electronic books: Additional Physical Format: Print version: Air pollution.
